Cobra H/E guys~Help

So I just finished installing my Cobra H/e yesterday and noticed that my intake temps are higher then before! I purged out the system by taking off the bleeder screw on the intercooler and filling it till it overfilled. After that I kept filling the resivour cap, and watched it bubble. Every where I went today I checked the level and filled accordingly. I used the scamatic on CSS.net as shown: http://www.*************/forums/show...at+exchan ger

I was just thinking that It might be due to air still being in the system but I dont know? Input guys!
My intake temps w/stock h/e where like 180-70degree day
Now they are like 200+ same weather. (It has only been one day)
The temps do drop tho when im driving but not alot.

IC pump, your temps shouldnt be that high when stock. Either it was going out and when you put the cobra on it finally took a shit. Crank your car up, take the cap off the IC overflow cap and pinch the right hose. If it starts moving and bubbling then its working if not then its out.

Thanks matt- I actually just replaced the IC pump because It took a shit because they guy who installed my old clutch dident reinstall it correctly. The car threw two codes cooler pump related took it out and apart, it was all burnt up and cracked. I replaced it with one off my other wrecked redline. So it should be running fine.

Also the Car has a 2.6 pully on it so it runs a little hot, I was HOPING that this would fix the 180 temps buttt its making it worse for some reason. Im just trying to trouble shoot it now.

Mine maybe dropped 5-10 degrees while cruising, but it never gets more than 20 above ambient unless I'm in a lot of stop and go. (it will get hot if you're stuck for long periods of time, regardless of H/E and pump functionality)

I have a CA heat exchanger chilling in my garage. I want to install it but don't want my pump to take a dump or deal with bleeding the air out.

hasnt that thing been sittin in your garage for like 18 years?

and why is everyone so disgusted about bleeding the air out. again, all you do is remove the bleeder screw on top of the stock HE, and fill it. when the fliud overflows out of that bleeder screw, cap it and your system is completley air-free.
