Problem with wives car!

I am having some problems with my wifes car. It keep throwing P0300, P2101, and P0171. Then when your shift gears and step on the gas it is real hesitant for a brief second then it goes. So it makes it jumpy. I have cleaned the throttle body, changed the spark plugs, changed the air filter, and reset the ECU and I am still throwing the same codes and the car is hesitating. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

A cracked head that sounds bad. I will check the IAT when my wife gets home in a few minutes and post them back up.

Sounds like a malfunctioning throttle body. Nothing really causes a P2101 except for something effecting the TB. Did you clean the butterfly valve when you cleaned your TB?

Yes I got the throttle body cleaner from pep boys and took the throttle body off and cleaned it real good and then bought some MAF cleaner and cleaned the MAF when I put the stock Air Box back on. I am going to take it apart again and try cleaning it and . Do you think a slightly broken boost actuator would effect it. The codes I am throwing steal are P0300 P2101, and P0564 (Cruise control switch)

WOP said that its probably a PCM related ordeal and that they just released a TSB regarding PCMs sending false throttle related DTCs, take it to a dealer and have them check it out(I dont think they could do much for me).

Im having similar issues but mine goes into "reduced power" mode soon as I take off and wont stop happening till the car warms up, leaving me running around limp(no boost) every morning to work...getting terribly annoying. I hear the fix for it is to set the TPS DTC to start to reading at like 8000rpms(so it never ever starts to read), wont hurt performance.

Cruise control switch? Sounds like your PCM/ECU is going haywire.

Edit: Posted at the same time as Dom. I agree with him.

Got a link to what wop said about the same code? I was thinking the ground near the air intake when you do the K&N, from what I've seen, grounds can really make the ecm go haywire throwing multipul codes. But if WOP says something, could likely be accurate, he's the guy wo deals with this stuff every day.

I have a similar problem with mine. If I get on the car before it warms up, the check engine light comes on (no actual codes are ever found) and it starts running like two of the spark plugs took a shit. Hard to explain. Its not limp mode, I had that happen once. To cure it, I put the car in second gear, and wind the motor out just a bit, and then its fine. It does it every time the car has been sitting for awhile, and you start it cold.....

I think thats a symptom of the 60# injectors. My car has done that ever since getting them installed. I just stay out of the throttle until it's warm, or put my foot to the floor. In between is just a mess.
