someone please help

just got my 04 redline about a week ago. everything was good, no leaks nothin. i havent ran it hard or anything yet and ive got an oil leak now. i checked the oil pan and all the bolts down there and its all good. looks like its coming from out of the oil filter.
anyone else had this problem?
or suggest what next to do?
its still under warranty so if i cant fix the problem myself by sat. then il just have it looked at but i rather do it myself, i hate havin people idk drive and mess with my car lol

sounds like the plinxter flange has a leak...usually means a full re build of the motor. the plinxter flange is on the superchatrger housing right beside the filter...use a small mirror and you might be able to see the leak without taking off the supercharger!..good luck!

fuck, il look at it again tomorrow but yes its no bueno, good thing i got the full warranty on it tho i guess. hopefully its nothing that serious

just screwing with the new guy!..im a bastard!..i think that somebody might have over tightened the oil filler cap and either cracked or threaded it!.. its plastic and prone to damage!.try to remove the oil filter cap and check it for damage.could be an easy 20 buck fix if im right!....there is NO plinxter flange!...colm.

COLM....!...ACTUALLY THATS MY FIRST NAME!.. i was born/raised in Ireland COLM is a very popular name there...its actually a gealic name and means 'the dove' in the gaelic language.....colm

just took a look at it, wasnt damaged at all but was tight as shit, so i backed it off a lil, gonna go drive it then see if it leaks anymore
