headlight problem (brightness)

well i guess ive never noticed this but just a few minutes ago i went to go somewhere so i turn the car on turn my lights on and in the reflection of my moms bumper i saw that the passenger side light is bright like its supposed to be, but the drivers side is like dim and barley lit and orange instead of white like the other.

anyone have any ideas about whats up?

high resistance in the circuit. take the bulb out and check the socket for corrosion. that's where i would start. you might end up having to change the socket.

edit: then try to trace back the wire until you find where it has power.

edit again: check your right headlamp fuse. 15A in the underhood fuse block
