engine lights and others

I've had some odd engine light issues lately. First ABS light came on/stayed on until I shut the car off and restarted. I periodically get a CEL that stays on for a while then shuts off (no I haven't bothered to get the code yet), and if I park on a hill an shut the car offf, when I start it I get a coolant warning despite having full level of coolant. Once the car levels off that goes away and doesn't come back. Any thoughts?

First of all: get your codes read. AutoZone will do it for free.
Second of all: if you're parked on the hill, that will naturally affect how your car guages its fluid levels. Seeing as how you say that the light goes out once the car levels off, you can figure out for yourself what's going on there.

Update

Yep I was going to get the code(s) read, but thought I'd post with the info I had as it seems like it could be a general warning light/instrument cluster issue. Code is P1182 and I've read all about that. Oddly enough I just had a new air filter installed a little bit ago. I understand the coolant and level parking scenario, but why it would suddenly start doing this after 2+ years of not doing this is odd.

That's the too much air code pretty much if you run anything smaller than the stock stage 2 pulley without changing the a/f ratio you'll get it...also you can get it with a different intake filter and/or oiling your filter. It's really nothing to worry about until it's inspection time.

I have to say...the faux 2.4 redline in storm grey looks pretty good but it's still lame.

Talking

For the code: try cleaning the throttle body. No joke, I was throwing that code myself three days ago. The dude at AutoZone tried to convince me that it was a bad O2 sensor, but I called the service department at the Saturn dealer and he said it had nothing to do with it. I just cleaned the throttle body out really well with a $3 can of carb cleaner and the light is gone. I also have improved throttle response and it feels like it freed up some ponies too. Try that before anything else; the fix doesn't get much cheaper than that.

No ideas about the fluid levels, though. But I would say that if your fluids are topped off to where they need to be, and you've confirmed that there aren't any leaks, and the light goes out when you level the car out, you're probably fine.
