Headrest Removal?!

how the hell do you remove the headrests in this car, someone was getting int he back seat and snapped the seatbelt guide off and I wanna epoxy it back. I can't for the life of me get the damned headrest off.

There's like a little button on the bezel part on top of the seat where the metal tube slides in. It's on the inside part, hard to see, but if you squeeze it, you will feel it press in.

If memory serves it doesn't let you pull it all the way out. I could be wrong though.

Yeah I believe it's the same one. Just squeeze it really hard, and kinda wiggle it as you're pulling upward.

Um, not quite. Look at the headrest from behind. In the part where the button is to raise the headrest, you'll see a tiny little hole. That hole is the release. Grab a dinner fork, poke one of the prongs into it, and it'll pop the headrest off. You could also try a paper clip or something like that, but a fork is the perfect fit.

i used a paper clip and it worked fine. epoxy prolly won't hold very long on that. because theres always pressure on it from the seatbelt.

i got mine from saturnparts.com for 15 bucks.....if you want to order one

That little hole was so frustrating when I was messing with my seats.

I have to say...the faux 2.4 redline in storm grey looks pretty good but it's still lame.
