Getting Troble code 1182

Anyone know what it means when my car is throwing a code 1182? My tester said "mfg spific powertrain" so that didnt help me at all..... And if im hevey on the gas it will jump into limpmode.

what kind of air intake do you have and did you recently replace it?

Completly stock.... but when i got the car the intake hose was missing from the air box to the pipe in the fender so i replaced it a few days ago.

you have a redline, correct? are you referring to the "snorkel" that came off the airbox going up in to the fender? If so you didnt need to replace that. typically limp mode is some how related to a intake or maf issue. I'm not familiar with that particular code though.

No the hose that connects the snorkel to the air box was missing.

I get the p1182 code all the time. I just clear it with my interceptor. use the search button. it will tell you how to fix it. and iirc it is similiar to the way you would cure the idle search problem. I haven't checked for a while so I could be wrong. But I think you might wanna clear your throttle body.
