Question Control arm removel??

Im trying to remove the drivers side control arm for a fellow RLFmember and im completely stuck. I removed the clamp and the boot around the arm, its a ball joint connected to the control arm Pic:

Um, thats not a lower control arm..... It looks like u have the boot off the steering rack......

right. my advice have a professional work on the car the potential risk for not know what you are doing is great, and so is the cost in dollars. Good eye jersey girl....

control arm is what the spindle and the strut mounts to that is a tie rod/ steering arm

Wow... Just Wow... This is how so many nice cars(any make, any model) end up being junked, people not knowing what they are doing and just winging it. Have fun getting that back together properly by the way.

Ok, heres what you do-

Remove the steering rack, as you just pulled out one of the inner tie rods, and will most likely be needing a new rack. Since you don't know what a control arm is, I advise you to not do this yourself, get someone who has worked on a car before. Or at least go buy a damn Hayes manual or something. They have pictures in them for people like you.

Enjoy paying to fix what you broke on someone else's car.
