Angry stealership fucked my car up!

my car has hit limp mode nine times since may... I took it to the dealer cause its still under warranty. They replaced something about the manifold pressure sensor but said I had bad throttle body and injector carbon build up... They said that's the reason I kept hitting limp mode. They said its not covered under the warranty and that it is 129 to fix which I don't think is that bad. On the way home however... I noticed the check engine light stayed on and I hit limp mode... Twice in a matter of five minutes... Is it possible they fucked something up so that I have to go get it serviced again?

I would say that unless they can prove you caused the problem, it should be still under warranty... They usually cover everything under the basic warranty.

they said it doesn't cover carbon build up... Should I take it to another dealer?

Wait a minute...isn't there a tsb about cleaning the throttle body regarding idle? All they did was clean your throttle body and injectors and charged you 100 bucks for the privledge? nonsense.

I have to say...the faux 2.4 redline in storm grey looks pretty good but it's still lame.

If you take it to another dealer I would recommend Saturn of the Valley (Galpin Saturn). http://www.galpinsaturn.com/hoursand...ons_Valley.jsp It's a bit of a drive for you but they really know their stuff.

they changed the intake manifold pressure sensor foe free. I told them I would take care of the carbon build up later. So they didn't do anything regarding that.

we just clened off a redline tb yesterday under warranty.. it only takes 5 mins, any chance that they might if tried to sell you a bg induction service? cause that would also fix your problem and thats not covered but it makes them more money

tell them to use the gm fuel injection cleaning, that will be covered under warranty. other wise call saturn customer service and file a complaint. then we will see whats not covered under warranty.

yes definetly go to another dealer, this is covered I just had it done the other day. I brought it in for the SES light being on, they said it was something w/ the MAP sensor and carbon in the TB... on the sheet the tech wrote "cleaned TB and per bulletin # xxx.xxxxx reprogrammed MAP sensor" and some other stuff, I dont have it w/ me right now....but yes it was covered and it was free!

Definitely clean your throttle body.... the car will go into limp mode if it detects anything funny going on with the air path. My car did the exact same thing, I brought it in, etc. they said it was possibly the map sensor, but cleaned the TB... and the problem went away for a few months. It's running with the SES light on now, because I haven't had the time to go clean the TB again.
