This is odd, where did my power go?

All my mods are listed in my sig.

Just installed ZZP headers DP and Magnaflow cat last week.

Used exhaust sealant for the DP so I wouldn't have any leaks.

The car ran so much better and had tons of power, must have been perfect for my tune.

Now and for tha last 2 days, I have acceleration issues. Wide open throttle seems to do nothing, in fact throttle at about 50% has way more power.

I had my oil changed today thinking that it was just sluggish with old oil but that made no difference.

One really weird thing I noticed though, my gas tank was a little under 1/4 tank and before I filled it, I noticed like a white residue on the inside of my tail pipe over the usual black residue.

I wiped it off and haven't noticed anything so far but have more driving to do.

I plan to do all the general checking, plugs, vacuum lines, injectors being clogged, fuel filter, etc.

I am hoping someone may have had this exact issue maybe in general or after installing the headers. I am worried the 'high temp paint' inside the headers may have clogged the cat by burning off like the outer bits do but I didn't want to break the seal to peak inside. Plus my boost is staying under 16 psi.

I guess this is what you get with mods and tuning, a learning experience, the hard way.

From what I've read on other threads, your boost should drop a little when you go to a bigger exhaust due to less back pressure.

Maybe they sent you a bunk cat. Did you get a high flow cat? That whole white residue thing I've never heard of though.

I have to say...the faux 2.4 redline in storm grey looks pretty good but it's still lame.

Just came back from good ol Autozone.

I am throwing a P0133 code sensor 1 bank 1.

I am guessing it was from when we did the header install, you get an extender for the front O2.

It is either loose or bad. Gonna funk with it and see.

I like to post this crap here so one day someone with the same problem comes here for help ( and hopefully does a search) and finds the answers they need.

You rock Redline forums!
-----------------------------------

Wait a minute, nobody else with the same code has had a performance issue, right?

I have the engine light turned off through HPt btw.

WTF? Back to square one.

Bad o2 sensor isn't really going to do what you described imho. You can get a new one on ebay for like 40 bucks...it's listed somewhere the guy who sells em.

I'm thinking it's the cat, check the cat.
