I have a question, I just recently found out about this problem also after weeks o f trying to figure out about my what was wrong with my car, I was having all the problems this was describing, after me and a friend of mine reversed the wiring and hooked it up to the candi module to make sure it was on and active, I am still having the same problems and can not figure out what is wrong. Everyone at the dealership is completely baffeled and there is nothing to show that there is anything wrong such as codes or anything. Does anyone have any idea what is going on or had the same problem???

When you guys switched your wires did you hear a noise that wasn't there before? When I switched mine I started to hear a noise that got louder as I reved the engine. It was'nt really loud but it was definately there.

Nope - I never heard a difference in the sound.

Did you try switching the wires back to see if the sound went away?

i just saw this thread and i checked my wires on the plug. and it appears that on my '04 redline when i got a new engine in it after blowing it up, the dealer already switched they wires on the harness to the plug. they didn't tell me but i feel glad its done.

I fixed mine myself, but i am wondering if the pump isn't shot after 50,000 miles running the wrong way. The good news, I filled the reservoir to the top, and ran it hard. The coolant shot out the overflow, and is back down to normal level, so I think that means the pump is working. Let me know what you think.

Same deal, i noticed the pump was dead after i logged and saw my iat2 at 253 degrees. thankfully nothing was damaged. But now i made sure my intercooler system is bulletproof.

You can either take off the metal tabs, or u can pinch the tabs together and tug on the connecter. Simple really, i just kinda suck at explaining things.
