if ya look at the vin break if I remember correctly the first number listsed out of the lasta eight of the vin is your YEAR sooo up to 2005 are affected.

Just wanted to say thanks to you all! I bought a 2004 Ion Redline a month ago and saw this and crawled under it and sure enough..... It is backwards. I swapped the wires (The paper clip trick worked great..... You just have to use the big paper clips and ram them down the side with the tab on it) and now it runs smooth. THANKS!

Shit i better check i had my car jacked up todayand didnt even bother to look haha ill go look, i hope its ok. If not ill reverse them. Car runs fine tho, if not ill take it to Saturn and have them fix it.

I just checked my wires and the positive wire is the black with white line and is connected to the spot closet to the floor. I cant get the plug back on though.

I just put a cobra H/E on and my wires were backwards, 2005 model

Ya i switched mine last weekend and the pump still works for now, getting a new one to have ready. U can really see the coolant surging in the filler neck if its filled to the fill line, cant really see it if its filled to high.

How high is too high? lol I have the neck 1/2 full and yea you cant see it moving but I think that line way the hell down at the bottom is too low, lol
