hmm.. I don't know then. It seems like A LOT (if not the mojority) of people had the problem PRE 2006, but I have personanly seen 4 06' RLs and none of them have had the problem.

Alright thanks. I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a crawl underneath and confirm.

No crawl required. Just pinch the hose near the over flow, you know, the one next to the latch!

If fluid comes up the filler neck, it's working. If not, try the other side of the filler tube as you might be pinching 'upstream'. If that dosn't do it, then yea, you have a problem.

Will do, thanks for the help. I can't wait to get home to the RL today. This and my first Onstar email giving me the RED "check immediately" sign for engine/tranny has me paranoid like a MF'r!

Okay I checked this morning after my drive to work.

Should the fluid be running up and down the neck up to the cap? Mine just kind of gurgles right between where it says "Fein A Fleud" and "Hot".

I tried squeezing the hose, but it didn't really cause anything to flow differently

???

Did you try sqeezing both sides? (not at the same time obviosly) I think you have to pinch the side on the passenger side, but I oculd be wrong. The fact that it is gurgling is a good sign though! (I think)

lol, okay, I'm gonna go try it again right now. The hose is hard to pinch though. When you first mentioned it I was expecting something that I could pinch closed between my two fingers. This has some resistance.

pinch a little farther way from the filler, your probably just sqeezing the nipple inside of the tube! pinch like 3 inches away from it.

But it does take a little force
