Keep in mind that you're not gonna get a short throw like in a Camaro or Mustang. Where the shifter is bolted to the tail shaft of the tranny... I wouldn't wait too long on something for this car!

swung by home depot today and picked up some hardware to fix the knob issue.

well, before you start the install, check the fitting of the knob on the shifter. It would have only taken me light 45 minutes, but those dam metal bushing were pushed on way to far. And it took me a few extra minutes to figure out how to get the pivot ball holder off

one good thing that has come from the B&M is the 2nd gear thing stopped. It doesn't pop out of gear anymore

How short is the B&M compared to the stock shifter? Any guesses? (percentage reduction in throw really isn't all that helpful)
