UGH... first problem...clutch/transmission

My god...my first problem. Clutch pedal has lost "tension" car does not shift into gear properly/without significant force. Calling dealership tommorrow. Whopping 2800 miles on the car...Any ideas what the problem is?

The problem goes to that little emblem on the back of the car. The one with the redline in the middle of it.

Sorry to hear about your troubles man. Seems like many of theses cars have been plagued with problems, many seeming to have something to do with the car being a "new" model.

I am bringing mine back in one more time for misssing and sputtering at startup, and running rough at times for no reason. I am almost positive that the cam position sensor was installed wrong when changed, as sometimes the car is perfect, but 3 out of 5 times it runs like the timing is just off a hair. They don't fix it perfect this time, I will do the lemon route and they will buy it back. they know it and have accepted that.

You rissue may be something as simple as a spring, or could be something internal in the tranny. Hard to diagnose without looking at it though.

Did you check the fluid level in the clutch fluid reservior? ?If it's low top it up, and get it in so Saturn can repair the leak and bleed the system before you burn er up.

Sounds like WOT has the answer. It's as if you're not pushing the clutch in all the way. Odd that that would happen, though. Did a foreign object get in the engine compartment?

They towed it to the dealer on friday, I didn't pay for it. Hopefully, this is a minor problem, will find out tommorrow.

Doubt it, it happened during normal driving.

Well according to 2nd hand information they had to ORDER something so I assume that it was not as simple as removing a "foreign object" from the compartment. What it could be? I don't know, I won't know until I get it back.

Oh I see, you were talking about the foreign object theory. I thought you were talking about WOT having the answer.

If you see this foreign object in your engine compartment it MUST be removed as soon as possible to prevent engine/transaxle and yes, clutch damage!!
