Anyone have this problem??

I went to the Giants game on Saturday night (NY Giants) and was stuck in traffic for 3 hours on the way home. I know that some people on here have described a problem they call the "can of marbles" noise, but I am still unsure of what that is referring to, as well as a gearbox noise. But while stuck in traffic I kept my car in 1st gear, and (its had this problem the whole time I've had the car) while coasting in 1st it bucks (not hitting the gas). It isn't smooth at all, and even after shifting into second at 2 mph it still bucks, so my car, when idling, is not a smooth drive in traffic. The problem I was having though (and have not been able to reproduce) was that as I was letting up the clutch, and had been doing it for an hour or so in traffic, I would hear a weird noise comming from what seemed like the driver side under the vehicle, that continued even after the clutch was let up fully, and would only go away as I revved the engine up in neutral. It almost sounded like a grinding, or a can of marbles (maybe). I was wondering if anybody has had this problem, or knows what it is, or anything? Thanks.

Most people have that noise... I do... it's annoying at times, but I tune it out...

The can of marble noise occurs when the car is first started...

PART of the bucking is from the engine moving around, Goofy/Vita's brace took alot of that out for me.
