Seems to me like your clutch is not engaging/disengaging properly, maybe from an air bubble in the line...bleed it again would by my first step.
With my current situation, I can get pressure into the system by pumping the clutch pedal multiple times but the pressure bleeds out as the car sits (because there is a leak in the system). If I try to start the car without pumping the pedal, it is difficult to get the car out of 1st and in to neutral. I also have a small accumulation of fluid underneath the trans where the metal gasket mates the trans to the engine. This means there is something going on with the TOB either having a hole in it or not being seated correctly.
The roll pin could be your culprit for the rough shifts but immediately when you said the car was "stuck" in second, it sounded more like the hydraulic system is not right.
