Clutch pedal problem

i have an 04 RL and from time to time if im in second gear and floor it to about redline i can feel my clutch pedal sucking in on its own. Once it does this my clutch pedal is extremely tight and has about zero travel (very hard to shift like this). But if i throw the car in neutral and pump the pedal a few times it returns to its normal position. This only happens when the car is under a load, never during normal driving conditions. any ideas?

clutch master cylinder seals might be going bad.... unit is pretty cheap, like 30 or so bucks and simple to replace might wanna give that a shot.

your clutch itself is going away, and at revs the pressure plate diaphragm spring is yielding. Buy a GMPP clutch from crate engine depot. and btw? take your darn foot off the clutch, and only press the pedal when you shift. \not before/

sorry should have worded that a bit better "when shifting" not before hah. And the problem doesent get any worse its been like this for a year, you think if it was the clutch it would get worse over time?

the car is in gear when it does this clutch peddle depresses on its own

I'm not so sure it's the clutch going out, I had a new factory clutch installed by the dealer when they replaced my engine under warranty at 24,500 miles. they installed a new pressure plate and disc on a spec aluminum flywheel. I have auto crossed and drag raced it alot and I still have the same problem with the pedal, I don't ride the clutch and it 's been doing it since I drove the car home, I now have over 95,000 miles with that clutch and it acts the same!
