Starting Problem

I would still maybe take it in, and see if they can replace it or something. You don't want to get stuck someplace...

I had the same problem. Went to start it, nothing happened, but it said SECURITY on the odometer. Took it to saturn and they said it was the ignition cylinder, or something like that. Replaced at no cost.

not to state something overly obvious, but when i got my car it did this a week after i bought it, because it was on the showroom floor they had disconnected the battery so someone didnt leave a maplight or something on. Right before I picked it up, the guy only hand tightened the battery cable, haha I felt like a retard, because i made a guy from saturn come to my house with a jumper box, and when i got in to show him, it started right up, had a check engine light, i drove it to the dealer and they read the code

"Low voltage"

No shit sherlock, but I should have checked the cable first thing....

Oh well Saturn has great service, might as well take advantage.

Thought you guys might find this story kinda funny.

I would but I'm pretty sure that I'd get the good old "Cannot Duplicate" line. It hasn't done it for about 4 days now, so I'm gonna wait and see. If it happens again though they are gonna have a RL parked in the lot and I'm not pickin it up until its right.........damnit!

They had a slight problem with the passlock sensor in the ions.

I was wondering how the passlock worked on our cars. The key for my camaro has a small pellet on each side of the key to provide the correct resistance for the ignition I believe. The RL key looks to be a standard key, is it something that's built into the key?

no that wasnt me they replaced the starter switch back in texas not here
