Problem #2 electrical...they should just paint this car yellow

Oh boy oh boy; another 2500 miles another major problem with the RL (which will be referred to as teh worlds most expensive cd player). Anyway...so now this bitch won't start (ie it doesn't turn it just cranks and cranks) so there seems to be a problem with the starter! Yippie starter at 5k miles that makes sense...oh and fantastic an oil leak to boot!

My favorite tow truck driver MITCH (Don't bitch...call mitch!) came to tow the fantastic plastic to teh dealership once again and said "this piece of shit is a lemon...tell them to give you your money back or get a new one...I've never towed a saturn until you bought this Ion."

Oh boy oh boy time for that lovely lemon law to kick in (probably will go for the money back instead of a new RL; no offense, I love the car but it is NOT RELIABLE by any stretch). I'll let you know what happens.

Question, is the security symbol on? Oh another (just reread the post) what do you mean by it cranks but does not turn?

Its as realiable as any other car out there but every once in a while someone gets a car that has problems its just a fact of life. If your going to complain about every little problem a car has you should get some sort of civic piece of crap instead that has no complicated parts that can never go wrong. Oh wait my best friend bought an '05 civic ex and his has been to the shop more times than I can count and his dealership really doesnt give a crap, but hey it must just be the RL and the fact that its a saturn that is causing all the problems.

your car prolly need s acrank relearn... so that problem is fixed.. second... your "oil leak"... is prolly coming from the crank sensor housing which might be broke... so bam your car now works and doesn't leak and it took a whole hour to fix

the reason i know is cause i just did that same problem to a regular ion about 2 hours ago at work

He should just get rid of it if hes going to complain about every thing that happens to his car. Don't mean to be an a$$ but I had the horrible problem with the VTi transmission in my old Ion QC3 and I didn't bitch about anything, my dealership tried to take care of it but the tranny was a piece so I called saturn and did the whole thing about trying to get some money so I could get rid of it and get the RL but they said they would just keep replacing it until the warrenty ran out, which doesnt do anything for the lemon law. Take it to the dealer, they'll fix it and the problem is over. Don't complain about everything unless the dealer says tough crap when you come in. Then you can complain about the car sucking, but until then thats what warranties are for.

I'm not a mechanic. This is a brand new car with 5k miles on it. Complaining about the bitch leaving me in a wal mart parking lot at 5k miles isn't whining it's saying : "gee, most new cars don't have electrical problems at 5k miles".

This can happen with any car, by any car company. Its not cause its a Saturn or a ION Redline in general.. Thats why the Lemon law was created. Cause sommeone somewhere bought a new car and it turned out to be full or problems. You think it was a saturn that started all this, highly doubtfull. Not trying to be an asshat, but in this case its just the typical new car owner pissed cause he got the lemon and the next guy didnt.. Anyways Im done with my ranting for the evening! Take it easy! and again this wasnt meant to be an attack on anyone, just me stating my opinion..

There's a 139 problems per 100 cars made, doesnt specify electrical or mechanical and a problem is a problem. Get it fixed and its over
