they never duplicated the problem & It has done it since a couple of times. now i have a kinda grrr noise when in second gear when you let off the gass a little of get on & Off the throttle.

Have you had the problems that some of us have had with our shift knobs? I went in to get the knob fixed (1 out of 4, until the 'real' fix came out) and they messed up the 'shifter guides' (that is what the tech called it, but i never saw what he was talking about). A peice of plastic broke off and was blocking 5th for me...

As for second.... that is no so cool....

could be your sincro's on it's way out... our dealership already had to completely replace a brand enw tranny with another new tranny... 5 gear syncro's were shot so we replaced them... then the second gears were shot so instead of ripping it back a[part we just replaced the tranny... hopefully this is not going to be the case fo you tho as our dealership had to buy back the car

The people that go into first gear and are moving.....you have to be under a certain speed to go into first I believe its 20mph or less.

make sure you arent pulling up the reverse lockout. if the reverse lockout is up at all it slides by 5th and you will never get it in.

I hope my syncs aren't goin out I have to go to ohio next friday. I know about that reverse lock out thing. my shift nob came off with boot & All so when i put it together I saw how that works. oh I did have the tech look to make sure it was put back together right. just turned 6,000 miles I'll have about 8,500 after my trip!
