I can't be sure about the boost mod. I drove around for a day with it off, but couldn't tell any difference, I got maybe 1-2 psi more, near redline, but I'm shifting around 6290, and the extra boost is only good for that split second. For my racing, it didn't seem worth it, plus I threw 2 P1182 codes the next day... Even with it done, I didn't always his 15psi. For my racing, I'm above 6,000 rpms for maybe 1% of my time. I figured I'm beating on it enough, so I left the bypass on.

If you shift at 6k, you're never even hitting the boost limiter... I can hit 14psi on a cool night before the boost limiter kicks me down, and it only drops me to 12.

Could be... they all seem to be a little different on different cars. I can actually see the limiter kick in with the Interceptor, when logging vs RPMs. Kinda hard to do without some sort of logger. I know you have access to that stuff as well though.

What variation of the boost mod do you have done?

Did you plug the open hole in the actuator? Does that matter? That's exactly what I did, and BAM P1182.

I believe you use the grey wire that is attached to the dimmer circuit. There is an easy to access spot, where it attaches to the hazard switch light, that you can tap into.

I think PC has it in his boost gauge install instructions, as a sticky, in one of the forums.
