Ok i read the thread but it dosent really say where to hook it up to get it to go on with the headlights, all i saw was something about a gray wire. My gauge has three wires though Red and Yellow for power and memory and Black for ground the wires are only like 7 inches long some im probly gonna need to get some more wire to hook them up. For any one that has installed a gauge where did u run your power wire to?

take off the center dash silver peice and then there is the (4 i believe) wires that come off the back of the emergany flashers. when looking at it from the top plugged in, if memory serves me right its the far right wire that you tap into. it should be grey

here is a direct quote from the install sheet.

"the power for the boost gauge can be tapped in from the emergancy switch on the center dash by using the gray wire and the ground can be attached any where."

its all good thats how we learn.

yes when you tap into that wire it power the gauges on when the knob gets twist either first or second twist (headlight knob) and then you can also use the dial by the "wallet holder" and trunk release button to contol the brightness of all the gauges when the dash goes dimmer so will the piller gauges. when your hooking them up you can set the brightness to them with the controller that comes with the gauge (if yours came with one). if you set the dimmer dial on high and then use the adjuster for the gauge itself you can have it so the gauge is like x brightness while your dash gauges are full brightness and when you turn down you dash gauges the pilller gauges will be even dimmer.

make sense? its all personal prefernce
