Exclamation

LOL!!! Try paing $347/MONTH! for redline ins. alone, then another $372 for just the car payment. Redline used to be only $190/Month(ins) before they looked at my driving record after my accident.

4 - Speeding Tickets (all only 5mph over) all in my SRT4
1 - Accident (my fault) Death-to-SRT4

I used to pay $500/Month payment on SRT4 and $224/Month on insurance on that!

Oh Yeah and you can add State Farm to the BAD INSURANCE LIST!!!!!!!!!! and add GMAC to the good list. I am not even allowed to drive my family members vehicles anymore.

Now, You can't really blame State Farm for having high rates if you have accidents and tickets. My company is State Farm, the Redline $80 a month.

they don't base your insurance premium on your credit score they only use that to determine if you pay it all up front or if you can pay it month to month

I am not blaiming them... I was just stating that they dropped me and I am no longer allowed to my family's vehicles (which are still w/state farm) They were going to drop them too if I did not get my own policy and show proof of it. BTW you must work for state farm or else no someone who does. I have never heard of someone being so sympathetic for a car insurance company!

This isn't true. Anybody can pay month to month. you just get a fee every month on top of your payment.

They do use your credit score to figure what your premium will be. My wife and I recenty took out a second mortgage for some home renovations. We checked around at different insurance companies about switching, and the state farm guy saw that we had a recent loan raising our debt-to-income ratio. He said if we didn't have that extra debt-to-income it would be a little cheaper. It was around $450/year more than I am paying now anyway, so we didn't switch.
