What I did is pushed down the tensioner, put the belt on the SC, bolted down the SC then released the tenstioner. The tensioner didn't seem to really tighted up as much as it should've. Also, the pulley itself is getting really hot. Don't know if that is normal. The noise seems to get bad right after I let off the gas. I will have it in neutral and when I step on the gas and let off it will start to squeak. Bare with me...it is hard to explain by typing.

Maybe you can take the belt loose from the tensioner and pulley, or at least get the stress off of it. And make sure that the belt is running correctly, make sure that it's seated correctly, and make sure there's nothing caught behind the tensioner that could make it hang up a bit.

Oh! Are you sure that the pulley is facing the correct way, and slid ALL the way down where it's supposed to be?

Thats what I might do. You don't think that the pulley is slipping on the SC shaft do you? That is what I am worried about. I have my pulley installed the same way this guy has his installed.http://www.*************/gallery/show...=3&userid=2736
The install of the pulley is almost straight forward. I just hope that this can be fixed and isn't hurting anything cuz I really like the extra boost.

sounds like the belt is slipping. Even with my 2.8" it was fine most of the time, but every once and a while it would slip. Thats my guess as to what your problem is.

there is no way the pulley is slipping on the shaft considering the amount of force it took to put it on. The only thing i can think is the pulleys arent lined up. I have the same pulley and mine never slips and my pulley never gets hot.

You might have pressed the pulley on too far and the pulley is contacting the snout causing a noise and the pulley to heat up.

Right.....that pulley tool is kinda idiot proof. You can only push it on soo far. My cousin is a GM mechanic and he thinks that the belt is slipping. But I still find that hard to believe because so many of you guys are running the same setup with no problems. With this exact pulley, the SC shaft should be flush with the pulley right just like the pic on the link I have above right?

Exactly, be sure the pulley is on the right side. If not, the belt won't be properly aligned.

It is on the exact same way as you did in the picture that you have posted on *************. The install with the tool is kinda straight forward. I can post a picture to get your opinion tomorrow.
