squeaking or squealing noises??

anyone experience a very faint squeal when hitting the gas slowly.. i dont mean hitting it and going i mean in reg traffic doing 30-50 just staying constant on the gas.. i have this faint constant squeal nothing like brakes at all, it almost sounds like if a could describe it as when a bearing is squealing but its very light not very loud at all... just annoying...ive been trying to figure out what it is and just cant pinpoint it from in the car. and it does not do it while idling, mainly want to see if anyone else has experienced this and if so what was the problem... this car has way to many noises and rattles for me... and this noise does not come with the brakes at all hitting those they are quite as can be and the car does not pull or shake at all with the brakes.... so i dont figure on it being a pad or rotor but this weekend im gonna check those again but i dont think thats what it is... i thought poss belt but the car is basically new with just over 3000 mailes on it.

Hey Z,
Do you have the K&N CAI on your car? I have a faint noise that I guess you could say sounds like a squeak under easy acceleration. In my case it is coming from the CAI.

Z my wifes rl does the same thing but mine doesnt I have had it on my lift a dozen times looking for it but with no luck. Its almost as bad as the lights where the sunroof controlls are rattling and squeeking makes me go nuts.

yeah i have the k&n but its def not coming from there i though it was and put the oem one back on and it does the same thing.. and yeah i agree sinister its driving me nuts and in the vue the damn light covers rattle all the damn time i cant stand it.. but this squeling is driving me nuts..its the type of noise as if the brake pads were low and the feeler was just barlely touching the rotor but the pads are new and it doesnt do it all the time only under light accelaration,,, but it not a steady sound kinda sounded like brakes at first but the more i listened to it its not the brakes and they have been checked many many times...this is driving me crazy though ...... and wolfie its not just a squeak once its a constant thing as long as i keep the pedeal at a certain place with the gas like if i push a little harder it goes away or if i let off of it it goes away...

i might be possible that it chould just be one of the cars harmonics... the nosie could just be from a small shaking which basicly just creats a noise.. it doesn't have to be anything wrong with the car.. just one well placed semi loose nut in the dash or in the engine bay may be causing it... remember our dashs arn't the most intriquit(sp?) dashes ever... idk know it's hard to diagnoise these type of things over the internet

Mine is a vacuum sucking sound but only at certain points and only under light acceleration. It is very faint but if you are driving with the windows down you can hear it.

I heard it today when I was in first. It was weird. I was like WTF.

mine is more of a "squeak squeak squeak" type sound i can get it to be constant if just on the gas just right but not easy to do it was constant but now more of a squeaking than what it was... im getting so damn pissed off with this whole damn deal at this point....
