I've had my 2005 RL for about a month and a half now. About two weeks ago the clutch started to become a little harder to disengage (push in), and it started to develop an annoying squeaking sound when engaging (letting out). I took it to the dealer and they said they lubed it. It was fine after that until about a week or so later it started happening. It seems worse than the first time now. Anyone else have this problem? I don't feel like taking it to the dealer every week to get it lubed.
Obviously lubing isn't the problem. I'm surprised that they took the transmission out just to do that. Pretty silly if you ask me. By the way, lack of lube wouldn't make it harder to engage or disengage. It would make some noise though.

My guess is that he is saying they lubed the clutch pedal to stop it from squeaking

Well there you have it. There's two bearings, neither need lube, but one needs it's contact points greased. The throwout bearing. Both require removal of the transmission to get to.
If it is the clutch pedal squeaking, I have this too, but only when the cabin is cold. Once the interior of the car warms up (heat directed at windsheild and feet with selector) it starts to go away and about 5-10 minutes after the car is warm it goes away. If not ignore what I previously just said and continue trying to find the answer.

I had a squeaky clutch pedal a while ago, and they had to replace the assembly. Not really sure what they replaced, but the dealership told me it was a common problem with the Redline. They replaced it, problem solved. I can dig in my records to try to find details if you want.
