Arrow obd II plug

okay i have no power to my obdII plug for some reason i have installed the psi-fi kit and got a code had it checked and had no power then either but didn't think much of it till now... is there a fuse for these?i haven't even looked yet i have one of those car chips and it won't read thats how i realized the power wasn't there

Do you have a standard ODB II scanner? If not, I would take it to somewhere like Autozone and get them to scan it. Just to see if anything at all comes up...

I'm not so sure that there is a power source for the port itself... It's like a serial port on a PC...

it has no power i've put a scanner on it they use the power from the plug to operate so it has no power it would'nt even come on yet worked in another car

er i believe there should b a fuse, normally is,, if no one ansewrs by sunday night ill look it up when i get to work on mon.. or check ur owners manual.. might say OBD some where in teh description of each fuse..

Power to the DLC pin 16 (power for scan tools etc) comes from a 15A LIGHTER fuse located in the interior fuseblock on the LH side of the console. (technically the BCM) The fuse should be "hot" at all times (ie NOT IGN switched)

just for FYI... pin 16 power should NEVER be used to power anything in the car. other then scan tools... ie don't use it to power you neons or phat LED kit yo
