Actually my car has had the same problem in the past and I took it to the dealer and they had to change out the ignition switch sensor. At first they thought it was the anti theft sytem in my car not fully acknowledging the,""unlock" sequence until they stumbled upon the sensor. So, I bet its one of the 2. One easy way to find out if its your locking system is, just shut all your doors ,lock you car till it arms wait a min then unlock your car again and try to start it up. Eventually your car will start no matter which of the 2 it is, but in time it will just get worse and won't start at all.

ok do this press the lock button on your clicker for the alram till you make the alram beep 3 times repeatidly (just keep pushing that buttton non stop) then wait 1 min then press the unlock 4 times repeatidly with out stopping and then wait 30 - 45 secs and then push the cluch all the way in then twist key till the last click before ignition then count to 5 and then start. just give it a try im not trying to pull your leg. ive had trouble before and i got all pissed then did that and it worked so im just seeing if it was a fluke or if its like a seceret hand shake type thing

Just noticed that you have the power steering dialog active in the message center. That could be from a low battery, not dead enough to get the key stuck but enough to get things moving sideways.....

Mmm, I don't know, it could be a bad battery I guess. I'd jump it and see it its dead and then talk to your dealer about the occurance.

Well I tried your little hand shake starting method pclear- no luck. I really dont think it's the battery now. My sound system still bumps very loud and everything is working except starting. I only ran the sound system for like 5 seconds so I know that didn't drain the battery...
