Dead battery

Well Its 1am and I just woke up out of a drunken coma and I decide to go cruise in the saturn. Turn the key and no go...dead battery I think. Not too sure how it happened but once my roommate is home Ill try jumping it. Im no mechanic so is there anyway someoen could verify its a dead battery. I turn the key and it makes no noise. Only thing that happens is the radio comes on, I tried using my elite Onstar system to get a diagnostic but all they said was they could send me a tow truck...but I passed on that and decided to keep it in my driveway.

You must still be drunk, 'cuz that's a really stupid question. PffffAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Turn on the lights. Are they really dim or off? If so, it's dead.

Anyways, you can push start it. Oh, wait, I think Goofyguy and I tried it one time, and it didn't work on this car...

Some smoke came out the exhaust and all was good the RL was happy to be awake again

heres a way to tell if it's dead.. do you put the key in and try to start it and it doesn't start at all.. then you go and try to take the key out... and it won't come out... then yes you have a dead battery...

if you can not open your trunk door with the button on the inside.. then yes you have a dead battery

if you can not call onstar at all in your car.. then yes you have a dead battery

oh and if you do end up having a dead battery... which on our cars can really only be caused by leaving the lights on since the RAP relay and the PCM control parasitic draw out of the car..

DO NOT JUMP START THE CAR INSIDE THE ENGINE BAY... you will blow fuses and the ones that blow are the power steering one and sometimes even the ignition one...

if the trunk does no open with the button take a key and open it and jump it right from the battery
