Racenpilot--

That first post of yours sounds exactly like my problem. I'm printing it out and taking it to the dealer. Thanks!

That was an interesting post, makes me wonder if they have been going at mine the right way. Thanks again racen...

They opened a case on mine at corporate level. Guess what, they said the same thing the dealer did. They can't do anything if they can't duplicate it. Said they won't throw parts at a car when they don't know what will fix it...

So, just told her that I will continue to call saturn each time, and have it loaded on a flatbed each time and dragged to the dealer each time.

Mine still seems as there is too much fuel on start up and chokes on itself. I don't know why they cannot duplicate it. I picked it up last wednesday, and it has done it twice badly and twice has missed at startup. But they have kept it three seperate weeks and could not duplicate?

I can't imagine that they haven't programmed the pcm with the latest updates. It seems like that would have been the first thing that they would have done. Then again, I don't have a lot of confidence in the techs at the dealers, so it really would not suprise me if they overlooked the simple things.

FIRST cold start issue this morning (never before) ... cranked it, didnt take long to catch, started ... definitley kenw there was something wrong, rouuugh ... stumbled a bit, and then died, total running time was approx 2-3 seconds. waited a few seconds, turned it voer again, same thing, run time was about 2-3 seconds. needed to get to work... so i cranked her over again, giving it a little bit of gas ... started, little bit smoother, revving to 2000.... was alright from there on, but i had to manuall give her some juice to get it moving. not sure what my ambient temps were, but not as cold as it was the other week when i had no issues. i'm going to use the block heater tonight to see if it helps.

They did the reflash on mine and the first time after the reflash it stalled. It hasnt since and the driveability is much improved...No more power loss when cold or between shifts. maybe try another dealer. The reflash definately helped solved all my cold start problems.
