Sweet. Now did you figure out where something shorted out? I ran 3 10s on a 1100 watt amp with no problems so you have something tapped wrong.

Nope. I haven't figured it out. I've been running that woofer for a long time so if I had something tapped wrong, I'm pretty sure it would have blown long ago.

Like I said, the only new thing I have is Sirius Radio reciever plugged into the lighter.

On an upnote, the car has not repeated this (fingers crossed) and it's running GREAT now!

Didn't alot of the 03-04 IONs have a short when something was plugged into the aux input? I think there's a TSB on that. Maybe your redline for some odd reason didn't have the TSB performed prior to your purchasing it, since I believe the redlines didn't have that problem (just 03's and 04 pre-redlines). Well I'm glad its fine now *knocks on simulated wood desk*
