My Redline is dead

I was leaving work just now and back out of my parking space. When I put it in first to go the car just died. All electrical power lost. I had a couple of guys push me down a hill and popped the clutch in second and nothing. I then had a dude use some jumper cables and my headlights wouldn't even come on.

I checked all the related fuses and all are good.

I don't get it. Anyhow, roadside assistance will be here in an hour with a tow truck to take it the nearest dealer. I'm a bit worried because this is not my usual Saturn dealer. I know one of the mechs at my usual dealer and they already know about my mods and are cool with them. I'm not sure how this dealer is going to react. All I have is a SCdyne header, magnaflow muffler and Korax intake. I can't get the car home to put it back to stock before going either.

I'll keep you guys updated.

so you have no power no headlights/dome lights/dash/stereo/wanring dings nothin. Its the main fuse box link then. It in the trunk in the tire well. Its 50a? could be 100a. The question is why did it blow?

My car is starting to do something similar, driving to work last night, slowing down for a turn, I pushed the clutch in and she just died, tach went down to 0. Restarted on the fly & kept going I too have the Korax intake, 2.5 in exhaust to a Flowmaster muffler. Any ideas?

this happens because of the MAF sensor and the intake. My car had all kinds of problems when I had a intake. Removed the intake removed the problems. It would sometimes idle real bad constantly changing RPMS and such.

It was the 30A battery fuse that blew.

I asked the service manager if they had any idea of what may have caused this to blow, and he said maybe my subwoofer or stereo. Doesn't make sense because I have a stock advanced audio system with one 12" sub pushing 100 watts. It's not a monster system or anything.

The only new thing I have added lately was the Sirius Radio Sportster reciever which plugs into the cigarette lighter.

Anyhow, car is back up and running for now. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a reoccuring problem.
