Arrow Trunk Just pops??

Hey guys.. jsut wondering if anyone has had this problem or if you could help me with it. So its happend 2 times in the last 2 months. I walk out to my car hit unlock button get in car & start it & Trunk appears on my display. so I get out & look & sure thing my damn trunk is open!!! nothing missing no damage. I never hit the trunk button & even if i did when I was walking to my car I could hear it pop open. I don't think the dealer is going to have a easy time with this one. Sooo... what do you all think it could be??? maybe somebody has the same transponder code as i do near my house???

hrm might be an electrical short of sorts somewhere in your car... my one friend has been having the problem of when she uses her turn signal her trunk pops, definitely take it to the dealer as well, not sure how much they would be able to help because as you said it might be someone iwth the same code. But depending on how helpful your dealership is you could just politely ask them to check the wiring :P

I think I am going to take it in & have it checked out, my dealer probly won't do anything till it happens to them. I had to take my car back 3 times just to have the cruise accl deccl button replaced because i didn't act up on them. but I can at least get the problem known & have it all checked out. thank you.

yea exactly, only problem with something that infrequent is they will probably very easily just blow you off, on the other hand it really could be as something as simple as the code, which unless you had a fantastic dealership, i can't imagine them putting any effort to try to help you out with that.
