Exclamation Car fail on face!!!

tonight i was out and i find someone that wanted to race well we lined up from a dig well first we warmed the tires then we lined up and we both got off the line when i hit second all good till right at the end of it the car just fell straight on its face and then i got it over to the side road and it would not start back up it would spit for bout 2-3 seconds and then it would die bout after 5 or 10 mins it finally started back up like nothing happened so theres the problem..

lol, You have a Saturn They will do that while they're new, just let them grow up like a little kid. While its growing it will do a couple weird things, just let her be and she'll learn, it probaly wont happen again and nothing bad will come of it.

sounds like my car.... normal Alpha, dude... I have had mazda's volks pontiac, chev. audi... none of those cars did what my redline is doing.... actually I never recall having to call for a tow except the audi for a blown starter.... its not normal...

Sounds like what my car did before the Cam Sensor recall... exactly like it...

That's what happens when you warm the tires. The heat from the tires transferred to the wheels, hub, driveaxle, differential, gears, input shaft, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, crank, rods, piston pins, pistons, cylinder wall, head gasket, head, and ultimately the cams, causing them to expand by 0.00000000000000000000000002565", and cause the cam sensor to misread. Saturns are finicky like that.

like Sp00ner said, just go to your dealership and have them install a new cam sensor, takes about 20-30 mins.
