No Start after PCM install?

im posting for a friend. he installed an intense stage 3 setup, and the car wont start. he says he went to do the security relearn, and the security light went off within 5-10 seconds on the first try and just didnt seem right compared to the write up. any ideas to try?

The light is supposed to go after after 10 minutes, make sure all doors are closed, windows up...you can expect to spend 30 minutes in that car like that. Try starting it, then turn the key back to the ignition only on, then the light will go off after 10 minutes, then turn it back and repeat, after the THIRD time it should start up. THEN don't forget to do the CASE learn.

yeah i know the light is supposed to stay on for a good 10 mins, thats why he called me wondering why it would go out nearly right away.. i told him to do the relearn anyway and see what happens

Yeah, have him try that and also make sure he doesn't mess with anything at all...no radio no nothing. It is boring as shit, trust me.

its my car and the security thing wont come on. i tried everything that u guys said and it wont work. It just flashes the security code for like 5 seconds and then it goes off, i dont know what to do.

When I installed my Intense stage 4 PCM , mine did the same thing.. I had some loose wires in my harness connecting to the PCM, make sure all the wires are connected correctly and nothing is loose.. took me forever to figure out the problem too..

Also, pop the connectors off and be sure you didn't bend any pins....

This is most likely what has happened. It's inportant that you fully engage the micro 64 connectors BEFORE you swing the lever over and while you do so, "wiggle" the connector slightly to help the alignment. It shouldnt take much effort att all to swing the levers over to the locked position.

sorry guys that i was panicing, i was at work from 7 in the morning and it was 10:00 and my car wouldnt start and i didnt wanna sleep over at saturn of danbury. But the security code was already done, thats why it didnt say security, stupid me! Thanx for helping out everyone, the car is insane right now, i got like 3 mechanics saying they wanna get redlines now, no one thought it could get that fast, i love proving people wrong who say u cant make a saturn fast, haha, thanx everyone.
