Question Does anyone have a system?

I have a system in my car, and the car rattles like crazy. The rear deck almost sounds like its loose. And my interior lights in front of my sunroof rattle a lot too. Does anyone know how I can fix the rattling or if anyone might have the same problem?

put dynamat or something in the trunk. that solved alot of my trunk noise issues... it adds weight... it will cost some $ to solve basically if you look at trunk there is no insulating material between interior and exterior...

I had thought about that, and I found a good price on 36sqft $134.99 (www.woofersetc.com) but I don't know if that is something I would want to do my self. And I talked to a guy that said it would be a couple hundred to do the whole car. . .plus the cost of the dynomat.

I have a system as well, and have the same problem. I solved it a little more rudementary way, I used packing tape to put upward pressure on the lights so they don't rattle. As long as the tape stays the light doesn't rattle. It's ok. I guess dynamat would be more beneficial than packing tape eventually .

Again, the bad side of Dynamat is the weight. The box I have in my car is heavy as it is. A trunk full of that stuff is like driving around with an extra person in the car.

I have a pretty large system myself and I was actually amazed at how much it DIDN'T rattle. Compared to my SC2 this is a silent night.

sound dapening material - you can install by your self, its basically a sticker - you will want to find a roller to help ensure its on good - the wooden one will cost of $10, and you do not need to do the entire car. what you shoud do is go somewhere, turn up the radio and feel for vibrations. around any edges thats where the noise will appear from. or tap in places listen for a ping sound, if the sound is a thud you dont need to put material in that area.
