Removing Door Panel?

So just curious on how to remove the door panels on our cars, i installed some speakers on my dads GMC 2500 last night and the panel was held on by 3 screws and plastic hooks u have to push up and pull the panel out. Curious on how our come apart? Im gonna get some front speakers soon too.

good question i am totally ignorant on this too lazy to look it up and I have to pull them off my new tint got scratched by dirt in the window felt so i gotta clean it before i fix it ....

I'm pretty sure they just pop off. Might have a few screws but you should be able to find those easily.

to start remove the plastic holder in each arm rest (2 screws)

After that iirc it is the same metal poppers that are in the dash. Its been a while since Ive done it though. grab a corner, pull up lightly and see what is in there. metal poppers, john daly it...grip it and rip it. =)

Ya the 2 screws under the rubber thing in the holder lol. And ya i hope its just that easy. And what the hell is IIRC, ive never got the Abbv in full context?

ok. two screws in the door handle/armrest. one screw down by the speaker grille. all posi-drive (NOT phillips, so be careful if you use a phillips not to strip them)

start down by the lowest rear corner and pop the tabs that hold the door panel on along the bottom and along the sides of the door. they make a tool that makes it very easy and lowers the risk of damaging those pop tabs, but you don't really need it.

when you have the bottom and the sides free just pull upwards to release the top from the window channel.

Sweet thanks man, Photo didnt help that much, haha jk dont wanna get banned!!!! I think im gonna get rockford or alpine speakers since i have an alpine dvd unit and rockford sub and power amp.

just for that I will brag about my popper removal tool that I possess which makes tasks like this (and for the outside poppers) SOOO easy =)~
