Lightbulb Here's one...damn turn signals.

I know there was a thread about something similar, but I'm not convinced it's the exact same issue.

I'm bee-bopping along and go to make a turn...flip my turn signal and I get the steady, fast flash/click...hmm, burnt bulb? Go to make a turn the other way, get the same thing...two burnt bulbs? Now, what are the odds of that?

So, I get to where I'm going, and turn the car off, thinking nothing more of it. Get back in the car a bit later, and test everything out...they work again! Cool...Get out of the car again, blah-blah, turn the car back on and they not working....hmmm, interesting. Now, I'm testing things...parking lights will come on if the car's sitting still, but a little dim, from what I could tell. No blinking lights though (right or left). Turn the car off, wait a few seconds and fire her back up, everything works fine - WTF!?!?!

Seems to be intermittent, but WTF is causing BOTH lights to screw up??? Anyone???

BCM could be your problem.. this might be turning into a TSB or mabey since it's not something with the lights it might be a re-call.. either that or they might start to re-quire that we get the DRL campaign as well

Silverstars - culprit?

So, the dealership thinks that the silverstars might be running too hot or something, and that the BCM is sensing too much resistance, at which point it shuts the lights down/off. Does this make sense to anyone? Anyone else using the silverstars DRL having similar issues?
