Confirmed? Weapon R CEL cold weather related

okay anecdotal evidence here but evidence nonetheless.

This morning was kind of balmy here in NYC and I've been riding the CEL for about 2 weeks now. All of a sudden: no CEL, drive for a while no problems no CEL. Then it get's cold again (night) and the CEL comes back on.

This has to be air temperature related...

Nuisance but it's just a nuisance no performance issues whatsoever.

I am having the same problem. I called my dealer about the CEL and scheduled an appt. but two days later the CEL was gone. Now that its only 8 degrees out, the light is back on. So its nothing to worry about?

Honestly I've been riding it for a month or two with no problems whatsoever. I believe it's just a nuisance.

When I first installed mt Weapon my CEL was on for about a week then went away (4 months ago)... Two weeks ago my wife thought she was being nice and took my car through an auto car wash with an undercar wash. The CEL came on for about a week then went awamoisy. Did I get moisture on the MAF?

Dude that doesnt make any sense, you get a CEL and you are too lazy to check and your immediately going to blame the intake.

OKKKKAYYYY..

It could be something else...

We have like 100 different codes or more.. so to make a guess you have a 1% of being right..

Amen...

Just run by autozone, advance, napa, etc. It is free and takes like 8 seconds.

As for water on the MAF, the thing is heated, so water would last on it for about .00005 seconds.

It's not. It's the intake.
