Big problem

The car took a dump. In first gear when it got up top it just like lost all boost and the check engine light came on. Now their sounds like a bad knocking in the engine when it just idles. But when u roll into the throttel it still pulls. About to go nuts.

Yes it went into redueced power mode. I pluged the box back in and it bucks again but the knocking noise is less. And with the box out it still pulls hard like theirs nothing wrong. Its just weird when it idels it knocks. Almost like maybe the timming on something got thrown off. I hope its not a rod knocking .

Yea, what box?
Knocking at idle? Drives fine without the box you say? Knock on decel also? Mileage, mods, abuse record would all help to maybe cure your ails. I'd say for now, stop driving it until you can get a scan of the codes that it threw when it went into limp mode.
