Raptor Shift Light..One quick question.....

I know this has been discussed, and I have read all through the other threads regarding the light, but not once did anybody mention, the brown with white stripe wire?? It is located on the #1 coil pack (spark plug), over on the cobalt forums, those guys are connecting the green wire(raptor) to the brown/white wire, but everybody here is saying the green/white wire located somewhere else. So can I use the brown one??? It seems to be alot easier to find and connect.

It doesn't matter. It is the same thing. I used brown/white... The important thing is that it pulses exactly every other RPM.

Mr Parkers right.Since there are 4 coils there are 4 Ignition Control signals- one for each coil from the PCM. They have exactly the same signal frequency and are located in the same harness connector C164.So it wont matter which you use. Dk Green/Wht is for Cyl #4 and Brn/Wht is Cyl #1 but L-BU/Wht (cyl 2) or DK-BU/Wht (cyl 3) would work just as well.
