URGENT....pulley puller problems...

I'm trying to install a 3" SFPH pulley and I'm using the Pulley Boys puller. I got the new hub about 2/3 on and the nut on the threaded rod is not moving anymore. I used anti-seize on the threads but obviously not enough. I'm a little worried b/c I need to finish this up or I'm in a world of shit with no transportation. PLEASE HELP...

Just stop, and don't break anything... it's fine until you do!

Ok, you're saying that the puller's shaft, the one that you tighten to press the pulley on, is stuck?

the nut that you turn is stuck on the threaded shaft.

Back it off... clean it, and start again... is that possible? Can you take any pics of your issue and post them quickly?

It has been a while since I did it, and I didn't use the PB puller, but it looked about the same.

Hmmm... I would try backing it off again. There shouldn't be that much tension on it, and you're gonna have to get it off one way or the other. I only used a small amount of AS on the parts that called for it... I'm confused how it could bind up in both directions....

Maybe you just need a touch more 'umph' to get over a rough spot?

I'm not sure. Just trying to think of anything I can without being able to see...
