uncontrollable loud radio!

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem…..
Got in the car this morning, started it up and when the radio came on it was a bit loud for that time of morning. Went to turn it down and it didn’t do anything. Tried changing tracks on disk, still nothing. Found out none of the radio buttons work, can’t even turn it off. My only choice is a loud uncontrollable MP3 disc. Thought maybe if I shut the car off then restart it would rest, but that didn’t help.
Does anyone know if the fuse for the radio powers anything else? I am thinking of pulling it till I can get to the dealer to have it checked out.

Yeah Its bad there is a lot of them that are or will be. I have a friend that is a service manager and he thinks there junk I guess they are made by panasonic. Gm had them come from over seas to see what to the tech center to see what the problems are. They have a fix but its a new radio. Mine has to be replaced because it doesn't turn on sometimes.

That's what I figured. Thought about yanking my Kenwood out of the truck and puttin it in the car but I like the clean look of a factory radio. My Kenwood is a MUCH better head unit but then I would have to get one of those ugly mount kits to install it. Is there any good mounting kits for a single din radio for our cars?

Yeah that was another one of mine to, it wouldn't shut off. I had to turn the car on and off about two or three times before it would. Not even pushing the power button whould work.

Like always I was running late for work this morning so I didn't have much time to mess with it. Maybe it will be fine after work. But if that's your 2nd radio and it still does it.....well, looks like I just might be shpping for a mounting kit for my Kenwood. Maybe if this happend enough to me I'll get in the habbit of turning it down or off before I get out.
