As you can tell, i didn't rate them high for cosmetic/audible/power benifits, as i don't feel they have any. I rated installation difficulty at 1 because it's not hard to put on wheels if they've been mounted and balanced already.

It finally snowed in Wisconsin today (Milwaukee area) and luckily i didn't wait until thanksgiving to put them on! I took some side streets after waking up early to eagerly test them out, and all i have to say is WOW!

These tires are absolutely amazing in snow. You won't be able to go out and drive like it's summer, that's a given. BUT, compared to the stock tires in snow, you cannot even begin to imagine the difference. I could let out my clutch on a hill (no gas) and begin to slide. Here i could actually drive up a hill steeper than what i would get stuck on last year (stock tires < 13,000 miles) and actually give it gas (not too much mind you).

Going around a turn (safe speeds) yeilded no slippage for me either.

Dry traction is good as well, but with the 16" wheels i'm running, there is defintely some noticable sidewall flex. That's to be understood with a smaller wheel. These are not meant to be speed racer's tires. They are meant for snow/ice traction. Although there is sidewall flex, and they are snow tires, they are still satisfacotry for dry traction driving.

If you live in a snowy climate, grab up a set of steel wheels with the Blizzaks mounted already, and you can worry about summer tires later. No more worry of driving this beast in winter!
