Yeah the air this intake pulls in is literally ice cold. Mainly it's high end (3rd and 4th) basically where the supercharger really kicks in.

The stock air setup allowed the supercharger to get really hot after about 5 mins of driving, I just drove the hell out of it for about 40 minutes and the intake pipe is ice cold and the supercharger feels lukewarm to the touch...WOW that's cooling.

Who knows. I heard an increase of 14hp for k&n, however the dyno that weapon r has is actually 20hp at 6000rpm; I can't help but believe it.

Teh instructions for the weapon r were retarded; no PICTURES AT ALL!
K&N has a pictured diagram but you need to cut into the wheel well for the installation.

See the weapon r dyno below: states 22hp at 6400rpm

They also have a video of the dyno on the website and the sound on this intake is incredible (I guess with airbox removal).

It is a foam filter. I am not sure if it reguires oil like the K&N's. I did not get any oil. I do not believe the foam filter is reusable.

I think it was a holiday offer, they included cleaner and oil; they are in decent sized bottles, I think it was a special offer. The filter is reusable.

Ok, I was like "crap" there for a min. I thought I was going to have to take it all apart agian and oil it. That would have been a major pain in the butt. In the spring i might throw on some K&N oil and see how it works out.

Honestly they say to clean and oil it every 3000 miles. The filter out of the box seemed unoiled so I gave it a coat.

I'm not sure how the filter works without oil, but I suppose it's so that it doesn't suck in water. I left the stock bottom airbox in so I don't think that will be an issue.

Yea, I took mine all the way out. In fact it was in 3 pieces before it was all over with. I think that the water is not that big of an issue. I have talked w/ some other people on the forum and they said it wasent too much to worry about. Of course u cant go flying through puddles or anthing, I didnt even do that w/ the stock intake.
