Installed some Morse brake pads a few weeks ago since everytime I'd come to a stop everyone at the intersection would look around for the hoopty that was making the horrible sounds. Little did they know it was me driving around in a vehicle that looked fresh from the showroom. Well 3+ weeks with my new pads, and I can definitely recommend these pads. The dust that I'm used to getting after maybe 2-3 days of driving is not even apparent. The car as though it stops just as well as the OEM pads, I don't do any road-racing so I'm not sure how well they'll hold up after some "hot laps" but for the casual driver using their RL for day to day driving that doesn't like cleaning their wheels every other day, I can recommend these pads with confidence. Autozone carries these pads for about $40.00+tax which is a great value especially when you factor in the amount of time saved by not having to clean your wheels every other day.

I tried to upload a picture of the product but I received this error message

No squeal, you mean the new ones or the old ones? The old ones still had about 1/6" worth of material on them, but the sensor still rubbed and made squeaks. These new ones went on and have been quieter than a church mouse thus far. I'm sure I could've paid more for better brakes. If I was in competition w/the car I would, but they stop just as well as the OEM but lest dusting which is good considering how bad the OEMs would dust.

I think the pads for the IRL are larger than the regular Ion, I'm sure they make brake pads for the regular ion. I'm sure Autozone has some Ceramics for the Ion.
