Mark, do you have any idea what the performance difference will be between your kit and the new GM kit. A quote from an earlier post concerning a show that one of our members went to over the weekend is below.

"Stage one is a re-cal and bigger injectors. Straight from GM engineering: our stock injectors are too small for the upgrades. This was done on purpose. A de-tune. Stage two adds the pulley and the re-cal is already for it if you went the stage one route first. More later, I just got home and we're going out to eat and cruise."

Keep in mind that GM is a sales guy. They will tell you what they need to make the sale. Our kit has safe airfuels and pretty much the most amount of boost we can safely run on this supercharger.

what power adder is gm gonna use to go big numbers? I think psi fi is the only way to go because of price and its a step towards twincharging. What is stage 3 going to be? I doubt Twincharging. No2?

At the moment yes, but we as a company will be moving away from retail and more towards wholesale. We have our sights set on development of turn key forced induction kits for many cars. Retail sales and in house installs diverts us from our goals.

Shouldn't step one be to disconnect the battery ? Also, wasn't it determined a while back that bypassing the boost solenoid was bad for the car?

As a matter of fact we were just discussing this last night at Atco. If you read more into the article, you see that there is a quote from a GM "engineer" saying that putting a piggyback on your car is extemely bad, and that you have to wait for the staged upgrades. I know that it makes people feel important to talk to the GM guys, and the GM guys like to feel important, but I have heard both of those quotes, verbatim, from the lead "engineer" at Mopar and PVO. He told me that my car was going to blow up, that the piggyback was bad, and that the only way to go was the Mopar staged upgrades.

Well, it's 45k miles, 500whp, 17 sub 12sec runs, and one autocross later, and my car is still going on the stock motor. Not only that, our upgrades for the SRT4 still get you more bang for the buck them the mopar ones.

So do want you want, but realize that the GM "engineers" are human too, so don't take thier word just because they have a title on thier names.
