Arrow pulley install

any one know of another way to install the pulley evidently the puller i used messed up the thread and i cant get a bolt to go far enough to stay in and it's pissing me off i only have about a quarter inch left to go and i'm stuck everything is done except for that please help

You may need to get a tap and chase the threads. If too many of the threads are gone, you may have to tap it out to a larger size, and get a larger bolt, nut and washer to press it on. As a rule, you only need enough threads equal to the diameter of the bolt. So if you have a say a 3/8" bolt, you only need 3/8" of thread to effectively hold.

i have a tap but the smallest i have is a 12 i think jumping from an 8 to a 12 is a bit much???

Yeah, the most you may be able to do is a 10mm. If you go too big, you might make the shaft too weak.
