So I live about a 100 miles south of St Louis and it has been cold all week, and a cel was on the whole time. Then today when it was warm it turned off, but tonight when it got cold again, it came back on. How can this be fixed?

It sounds like they have the power pack programming so that the iat sees that it is about -20F so that it richens the mixture. Is what is more than likely happening is that they tuned it in a warmer temp, but when it gets cold, the computer picks up that it is less than -40F which is basically what it reads when the iat is unplugged or bad. I am sure that when it gets cold out for them, they can correct the issue. Hey y2kzmzn and actionjack, I am in Memphis. Maybe sometime we could get together at Lambert's in Sikeston and catch some rolls. Maybe in the spring go to Sikeston dragstrip.

Yeah that sounds fine, I still haven't been to a track since I installed all of this stuff. But I'm going to spend about 3 grand more on my car in the spring anyways, so going to a track would be fun in the spring.

Do you tap into IAT sensor?

I have found the sensors can get mighty upset if you tap them, even a little difference from the norm will set off bells and whistle in the PCM.

If you tap into the TPS 1 and it's a tiny bit off from TPS 2 you go into limp mode. (don't ask me how I know )
